Yoga retreats are normally 3 to 4 days in duration. All accommodation, meals, yoga and meditation are included in the price.
Yoga is done twice per day, morning and evening and there is a meditation session every day. In addition to yoga we organise activities such as walks, swims, health seminars and creative projects. There is plenty of time for you to do your own thing and you can opt to join into whatever you wish. Depending on where the retreat is held we may have time at the beach or a walk in the hills.
Most people lead stressful lives. We have many different issues to deal with and at times we simply need to have some time out to rejuvenate. Therefore rest is a large part of a retreat for many people, as is a detox from constant electronic equipment and endless phone contact. Regular yoga, healthy food, meditation and rest enable your mind to relax. A relaxed mind can create solutions and provide insights that a stressed mind can’t.
Actually taking time out to disconnect allows us to reconnect with our bodies, our hearts and spirit. This re connection to self brings a sense of peace and focus.
